Each year BCA sells over £4 billion of used vehicles, ranging
from nearly-new and ex-lease stock to budget and older
product. The company not just sells vehicles for
customers, but provides complete remarketing solutions that may
comprise vehicle document management, defleet and inventory
management services, vehicle inspections and logistics, vehicle
smart repair and valeting, physical auction and online sales,
training and more.
BCA operates from a new auction complex on the outskirts of
the City of Vienna, adjacent to the major motorway network for easy
access. This ground-breaking auction facility for the Austrian used
vehicle market provides a hub for future expansion into Eastern
European markets, in particular Hungary and the Czech
Republic.
BCA in Belgium is based in Wavre. This modern
purpose-built remarketing complex is ideally sited 20 minutes
from Brussels at the heart of Europe, and serves both the domestic
used vehicle industry and a vibrant pan-European vehicle export
market.
BCA in Denmark operates from a 10 acre centre in Vejle
situated just north of the border with Germany. The
operations serves both the Danish automotive industry as well as
customers from Germany and beyond. BCA Demark has been at the
forefront of pan-European online sales, bring together buyers and
sellers in true cross-border wholesale activities.
As part of BCA's pan-European coverage of key automotive
markets, BCAuto Enchères provides the complete range of remarketing
services to the French automotive industry. With two modern
auction centres in Paris and Lyon. From the initial base in Paris
and Lyon, BCAuto Enchères is set to expand to provide a nationwide
network of modern and professional auction centres.
BCA Autoauktionen operates from eight locations in
Germany Neuss, Hanover, Groß Gerau,
Heidenheim, Hamburg, Munich and two centres in Berlin,
providing auction facilities in the across Europe's largest car
market. Further development and expansion in Germany is
planned.
Due to continuing European demand from Vendors and Buyers, BCA
has taken a further step into Europe with the opening of a new
office servicing domestic cusotmers in Italy.
In the Netherlands, BCA operates from a dedicated centre
in Barneveld, near Utrecht, 50 kilometres east of Amsterdam. A
continuous programme of investment has seen the centre grow more
than three times its original size, in support of the growing needs
of both buyers and sellers.
Portugal
As elsewhere on the continent, BCA is the clear market-leader in
Portugal with three modern auction centres at Mem Martins 15
kms to the west of Lisbon, Pombal in central Portugal, and Mindelo
10 kms east of Oporto. The business operates from
purpose-built centres equipped with the latest IT systems for the
benefit of buyers and sellers alike.
Spain
In Spain BCA is based in four locations. These
include a centrally located operation in Guadalajara near
Madrid, a facilities in Seville, Barcelona, and Alicante. The
Seville operation is BCA's largest facility in mainland Europe, and
together with the rest of the Spanish network serves the
growing fleet, lease, rental and dealer sectors. Cross-border
sales into other European markets with both physical and
online channels are an integral part of BCA's Spanish
activities.
Sweden
In 2005 BCA further expanded its Scandinavian operations with
two new centres in Sodertalje and Halmstad. Strategically
located in the south and east of the country, the operations
provide electronic remarketing and logistics support services
across Scandinavia and beyond.
United Kingdom
In the UK, BCA is the only company to offer a true nationwide
network of 21 auction and remarketing centres with comprehensive
coverage in England, Scotland and Wales. The network includes
Blackbushe in Surrey, which is the largest remarketing centre
throughout UK/Europe, as well as several centres dedicated to both
light and heavy commercial vehicles, plant and equipment.
